Housing Geostories
Table Manners

Housing Geostories was a discussion reconciling fast thoughts on housing, representation, and environment. Participants created drawings that borrowed techniques from Ghosn and El Jazairy, using their representational lens and applying it to quick reflections on housing in Denver, CO. Meanwhile, animated media from Design Earth was shown on multiple screens, reminding the passerby of the role of storytelling in architecture. For about an hour, young scholars asked insightful questions of Ghosn and her work, and received feedback on their own investigations on housing, the built environment, climate crisis, environmental degradation, and social justice.

The environment for Housing Geostories was designed by José Ibarra, with a guest presentation by and discussion with Rania Ghosn.
